If you're truly interested in getting a Fine Art Loan in Phoenix, Avondale, or Goodyear, it's important that you know the ins and outs of our loan process as well as being able to take the appropriate steps so that we can make a loan Let's look at the requirements to get a loan on your artwork.
The Nitty Gritty of Fine Art Loans
What's considered fine art? Is it a piece of art that's been handed down from generations to generations? Or a piece of art that looks valuable that you picked up at a garage sale. The fact of the matter is it could be any one of these things. Fine art is art that has value to collectors, not value you think it has or what eBay might say. Making loans on fine art is actually a tricky process for us here at West Valley Pawn and Gold.
The most important thing we need you to provide to us is a Certificate of Authenticity. While this sounds like a difficult item to have for a lot of artwork, it's simply impossible for us to make a loan without it. Your piece of art might have value and we might even be able to verify it has value online, but how do we know it's real and not just a print without this CoA? We don't, and unfortunately we're unable to make fine art loans without this.
If you do have it, then the process is incredibly easy! What we ask is that you contact us before you come down to our store ether using our live chat at the bottom of the screen, or our online Pawn Loan Application. This allows us to evaluate your artwork beforehand and discuss loan terms such as the amount, and interest rate. Particularly with the difficulty in verifying artwork and coming up with reasonable values for them, giving us the additional time ensures that everyone is getting the fairest deal possible.
